Vocational Evaluation:
This phase may last from 2 to 4 weeks and is intended to be a learning experience

capabilities and to provide them and the sponsoring agent with vocational
diagnostic information and service recommendations.

Work Adjustment Training:
This phase may last from 1 to 50 weeks and is a transitional treatment/training
service or program utilizing individual and group work or work-related activities.
It is provided on an organized, systematic basis to assist individuals in
understanding the meaning, value, and demands of work; to motivate or develop
attitudes, personal characteristics, and work behavior; and to develop functional capacities, as required, in order to assist individuals towards their optimum level of vocational development.

Placement Training:
This phase is a systematic sequence of instruction with a curriculum that, when
individually planned and applied, develops appropriate skills and knowledge to
assist the individual to identify, obtain, and retain competitive employment, commensurate with his/her vocational goals.

Skills Training:
This phase is a systematic sequence of instruction with a formalized curriculum that
when individually applied, develops appropriate skills and knowledge for a specific occupation objective.
